David Kraut is a Managing Director and the General Counsel of Treville. Mr. Kraut joined Treville in 2024. Prior to Treville, Mr. Kraut was a Managing Director and Senior Counsel at Goldman Sachs, where he covered multiple asset management businesses, and General Counsel of Lafayette Square, a credit investment platform focused on investing in underserved communities. He began his career as an Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and clerked for the Honorable Victor Marrero in the Southern District of New York. Mr. Kraut holds a BA, cum laude, in Ethics, Politics and Economics and International Studies from Yale University and a JD from New York University School of Law, where he served as senior notes editor and executive board member of the Law Review. Mr. Kraut is an Advisory Board Member of Hot Bread Kitchen Incubates, an incubator for women and minority-owned small food businesses.
